IPL 2009 - Permutations and Combinations

Deccan Chargers vs Royal Challengers Bangalore... Semi finals Berth...

Irrespective of the outcome in the IPL 2009 56th match between Deccan Chargers and Royal Challengers Bangalore at Centurion on 21st May, 2009, both will reach the Semi finals.

But...

• Royal Challengers Bangalore can lose out of the race if the match is over in 10 overs with small scores, giving way to Kings XI Punjab.

• Deccan Chargers can lose out of the race if they lose by more than 195 runs, giving way to Kings XI Punjab.

Anyway, the winner of this match will gain the third place, with Delhi Daredevils in the first place and Chennai Super Kings in the second place.

Adam Gilchrist and One more SIX

Adam Gilchrist is one SIX away from his 25 Sixes. His 25th six in this IPL 2009 tournament will benefit 25 children with disabilities. Amway's Freedom Wheels Programme, in partnership with the Technical Aid to the Disabled (TAD) will provide these kids with modified bikes.

Kudos to Gilly's charitable work!

Kingfisher Crickflick Contest

Kingfisher is one of our sponsors. They conducted the Kingfisher Crickflick Contest wherein fans had to send whacky videos to prove they were die hard fans of their favourite IPL team. The winner gets to fly to South Africa; an all expenses paid trip!

Here is a video entry from a die hard Deccan Chargers fan. Enjoy.
